Supervisor’s Title: Executive Director
Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000 (based on experience and education)
Location: Orange County (on-site)
POSITION OVERVIEW
Zebra Youth is currently interviewing for a self-sufficient, motivated, and capable Youth Services Director.
The Youth Services Director will oversee services for youth and their families to assist in making youth’s lives more productive and contribute to their personal development. The role is responsible for developing, implementing, and quality assurance of Zebra Youth’s programs for a diverse population of young people. The Youth Services Director leads a dynamic team to accomplish best practice objectives for linkage, mental health support, and homeless prevention.
The Youth Services Director is a professional with experience in hiring, training, and supervising staff with a team approach while providing intensive one-on-one staff development and guidance. The Director is passionate about working with young people and welcomes the opportunity to address challenges with those who are marginalized, including LGBTQ+, youth of color, and youth experiencing homelessness.
Principal duties/responsibilities:
● Administer the Development and Management of Youth Services
● Staff Development and Team Building
● Data Management / Grants Management
● Interagency Collaboration and Partnerships
Education and Qualifications
● Master’s degree preferred and five (5) years of experience in a social services-related field
● A minimum of five (5) years of experience in staff supervision and/or direct clinical
support
● Familiarity and sensitivity in dealing with the unique needs of marginalized youth,
including LGBTQ+, homeless youth, and youth of color
● Experience with homeless prevention, housing services and evidence-based interventions,
trauma-informed care, and harm reduction programs
● Proficient in client data management systems, data analysis, and program evaluation
● Must pass criminal background checks and have a valid driver’s license
● Must be available to work a flexible schedule that will include weekdays, some evenings,
and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
● Industry-specific experience (if applicable).
● Understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks.
