About the Role

The Marketing Coordinator will assist the Director of Experience in supporting Orlando Fringe's marketing efforts. This role focuses on helping manage social media platforms, coordinating third-party marketing relationships, supporting the creation of in-house collateral and signage, and handling marketing administrative tasks. The Marketing Coordinator ensures that Orlando Fringe’s message reaches the community and aligns with our mission to foster artistic expression and accessibility.

The Marketing Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Experience and works collaboratively across departments to support marketing initiatives.

Overview

The Marketing Coordinator helps maintain the organization’s online presence, coordinates with external marketing partners, and supports the execution of marketing tasks. Responsibilities include assisting with the social media calendar, creating and scheduling content, capturing content at events, supporting the design of in-house marketing materials, and coordinating with vendors and partners to ensure projects stay on track. By supporting cohesive marketing efforts, this role helps amplify Orlando Fringe’s mission and strengthens community engagement.

What You’ll Do

Social Media & Content

  • Assist with maintaining Orlando Fringe’s social media presence, including scheduling, posting, engaging, and creating content across platforms.

  • Support the social media content calendar and help ensure consistency with Orlando Fringe’s branding and messaging.

  • Capture and edit content at events, including photos and video.

  • Track performance metrics and provide basic reports to guide the team.

  • Identify opportunities to engage in community conversations and trending topics.

Marketing Administration

  • Help coordinate marketing schedules and deadlines and keep materials organized.

  • Act as a point of contact for external marketing partners, including agencies, photographers, and printers, helping to communicate approvals, feedback, and deliverables.

  • Update the website and maintain community calendars with festival information.

  • Support the organization and documentation of marketing plans, materials, and partner communications.

In-House Design Support

  • Assist in managing, resizing, and formatting design assets for campaigns.

  • Support creation of marketing materials and signage for programs and events.

  • Ensure all materials stay on-brand and visually consistent.

  • Collaborate with creative vendors as needed.

Who You Are

  • A creative, out-of-the-box thinker who works well within organizational structures.

  • Social media savvy, experienced with scheduling tools, analytics, and content creation.

  • Comfortable using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and Squarespace.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.

  • A strong, collaborative communicator who works well with teams and external partners.

  • Familiar with branding practices and comfortable collaborating with creative vendors.

  • Adaptable, a problem-solver, and an effective written and verbal communicator.

  • Passionate about the arts, live performance, and community engagement.

  • Flexible and ready to support festival events, including evenings and weekends.

Work Environment

Our office is at 812 E Rollins St, Orlando. Attendance is expected at weekly on-site meetings and work sessions, with flexibility for tasks that can be done remotely. Special events and the festival will require your presence on evenings and weekends.
