Bookkeeping Services for The Pride Chamber
The Pride Chamber (“the Chamber”) is seeking proposals from qualified bookkeeping
professionals or firms to provide part-time bookkeeping services. The anticipated commitment is
approximately 2–3 hours per week, with occasional fluctuations based on business needs.
The Chamber is a nonprofit membership organization focused on supporting local businesses and
fostering economic development. Accurate, reliable financial management is essential to our
mission, and we seek a partner who can support our ongoing financial operations in a professional
and timely manner.
Scope of Work
The selected contractor will provide ongoing bookkeeping services, which may include but are not
limited to:
Ongoing Monthly Tasks
Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks Online
Record and categorize revenues, expenses, invoices, and payments
Reconcile all bank, credit card, and merchant accounts
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Monitor and track membership payments
Process reimbursements and routine operating transactions
Coordinate with Chamber staƯ regarding outstanding items
Quarterly or As-Needed Tasks
Prepare financial reports for board meetings
Assist with budget updates and monitoring
Support annual financial review, audit, or tax preparation
Maintain appropriate documentation for compliance and record-keeping
Provide recommendations to improve financial processes and controls
The selected provider must maintain confidentiality and adhere to nonprofit financial best
practices.
Qualifications
Respondents should demonstrate:
Proven experience providing bookkeeping services (preferably for chambers, associations,
or small nonprofits)
Proficiency with QuickBooks Online. Experience with Growthzone Chamber
membership software a plus.
Understanding of nonprofit/501(c)(6) accounting principles (preferred)
Strong communication skills and responsiveness
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CB, or QB ProAdvisor) are desirable but not required.

o Introduction to the individual or firm
o Summary of relevant experience
2. Description of Services
o Outline of your approach to managing bookkeeping for the Chamber
o Confirmation of ability to meet the weekly 2–3 hour commitment
3. Experience & Qualifications
o Description of similar organizations served
o Résumé(s) of key personnel
4. Technology & Systems
o Software proficiency
o Any recommended improvements or efficiencies
Contract Term
The Chamber intends to enter into a 12-month contract, with the possibility of renewal based on
performance and organizational needs. Services are expected to begin on or around [Start Date].
