- OverviewAnthem Orlando is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager (AGM) to help lead day-to-day operations at our new LGBTQ+ nightlife destination. The AGM will support the General Manager in running a tight ship from supervising staff and managing the floor to ensuring guests experience an unforgettable night out. This is a leadership role for someone who’s passionate about nightlife, thrives under pressure, and knows how to motivate a team with grace and grit.
- Description
Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in executing nightly operations, scheduling, and team oversight
- Manage staff check-ins, shift transitions, and floor assignments
- Supervise FOH operations including bartenders, barbacks, and security
- Maintain cleanliness, guest experience, and operational flow throughout the venue
- Open and close the venue as assigned, following cash handling and security protocols
- Step into the GM role when needed including during events, emergencies, or off-nights
- Assist with inventory checks, deliveries, and vendor coordination
- Uphold Anthem’s values of inclusivity, safety, and celebration for all guests
Qualifications:
- 2+ years in a supervisory or AGM role in nightlife, bar, or restaurant settings
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Ability to manage a team in high-volume, high-energy environments
- Familiarity with POS systems (Toast preferred), staff scheduling software, and bar inventory tools
- A love for LGBTQ+ culture and a deep understanding of the importance of safe nightlife spaces
Schedule:
- Nights, weekends, and some holidays are required
- Must be able to lead during peak hours (Thurs–Sun evenings especially)

- Salary range$45,000 - $60,000 per year
